Iconografia della Salute: il festival delle Medical Humanities

Al via la seconda edizione del festival delle Medical Humanities ideato dal Centro studi Medical Humanities di Alessandria. La seconda edizione, dedicata a “Iconografia della salute” sarà ricca di ospiti di livello nazionale, con interventi online ed eventi in presenza.

A partire dal 19 ottobre, dedicata alle “persone“, ossia pazienti e operatori di cura: i lavori saranno aperti da Paolo Mazzarello, storico della Medicina all’Università di Pavia, in dialogo con Alessandro Bargoni, Paola Villani, Franco Lupano e Maria Teresa Monti.

Il 20 ottobre sarà dedicato all’impatto dell’ambiente e dei luoghi di cura sulla salute umana: a discuterne Stefano Capolongo e Angelo Tanese, firmatari dell’Italian urban health declaration, documento che promuove le città come ambienti promotori di salute. Insieme a loro Monica Botta, Marco Invernizzi, Sonia del Medico ed Elena Franco.

Il 21 ottobre, invece, sarà dedicato alla narrazione come strumento di cura, mentre il 22 ottobre sarà dedicato al sapere, alle fake news e all’engagement del paziente. Tutti gli interventi saranno disponibili in diretta sulla pagina Facebook e sul canale YouTube dell’Azienda ospedaliera di Alessandria.

Accanto agli incontri virtuali, questi gli eventi in presenza: la mostra di Elena Franco “Ars Curandi”, con una ricerca sugli antichi ospedali in Italia e in Europa; la mostra organizzata da Ciso Piemonte sui medici, in collaborazione con il Fondo Ambiente Italiano; gli appuntamenti realizzati con la Biblioteca Civica di Alessandria per la promozione delle cinquecentine, e poi la memoria di Nadia Presotto, artista deceduta a causa del mesotelioma, che ha raccontato in un libro la sua storia.
