Il prossimo 14 novembre a Napoli si terrà il seminario “Medicina Narrativa tra formazione e qualità delle cure” promosso dalla Scuola di Specializzazione in Pediatria, dalla Scuola di Medicina e Chirurgia e dall’Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Federico II. L’evento culturale si svolgerà presso l’Aula Magna di Biotecnologie (Via Tommaso De Amicis 95) dalle ore 15 alle ore 18.

“Narrando si comprende, narrando si guarisce, narrando ci si cura” afferma Sandro Spinsanti, direttore del Giano Institute for Medical Humanities, nel suo libro La medicina vestita di narrazione. La Medicina Narrativa ha il compito di umanizzare le cure, valorizzare i rapporti umani e professionali e stabilire una relazione empatica tra medico e paziente. “Le narrazioni sono chiavi di accesso” dice Spinsanti. La Scuola di Medicina e l’Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria sono impegnati in un progetto congiunto sulla Medicina Narrativa declinandolo in chiave di formazione e di miglioramento della qualità delle cure.

Tra gli interventi Alfredo Guarino Direttore della Scuola di Specializzazione in Pediatria Università di Napoli Federico II, Isabella Continisio, Ufficio Formazione, Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Federico II, Sandro Spinsanti dell’Istituto Giano per le Medical Humanities e Fabrizio Consorti con il suo approfondimento “La Medicina Narrativa nella Pedagogia Medica”.
