International Bologna Consensus Assembly on Telemedicine: menzione speciale anche per Patients Narrative Telemonitoring

Grande successo per la prima International Consensus Assembly on Telemedicine promossa da SIT e tenutasi a Bologna il 10 e l’11 marzo: due giornate intense, ricche di contributi scientifici di grande spessore e rilievo internazionale, arricchite da importanti partecipazioni.

Pur nella varietà delle tecnologie, delle metodologie, dei percorsi organizzativi, il focus prioritario dell’incontro è stato quello di una visione centrata su un nuovo umanesimo abilitato dall’innovazione digitale. Il Congresso è stato infatti disegnato intorno alla convergenza possibile di Ratio Ethica e Rathio Technica.

L’incontro è stato anche l’occasione per attribuire visibilità al mondo della Ricerca e dello Sviluppo nel settore della Sanità Digitale. Sono stati  selezionati per la comunicazione orale quasi cinquanta abstract, valutati in cieco da tre distinte commissioni di esperti, che si sono alternati al ricco programma di relazioni degli attori principali della trasformazione digitale in Italia e in Europa. Grazie a questa formula di scambio di esperienze e competenze, sono state agevolate occasioni di incontro tra i rappresentanti della comunità scientifica, delle aziende farmaceutiche e giovani team di ricerca.

Due i lavori premiati con il Gian Carmine Russo Awards (The Telecardiology Revolution e TELE-EPIC_RCT), mentre “An innovative cloud-based solution for the screening of malnutrition, sarcopenia and dysphagia in older people” ha ricevuto il Novamedica Award.

Una menzione speciale è stata conferita, dal Presidente SIT Antonio Vittorino Gaddi, anche a Cristina Cenci in rappresentanza del gruppo di lavoro Patients Narrative Telemonitoring, per l’abstract A Digital Diary Applied to Oncological Clinical Practice to Personalize Patient Care (Results from Pilot Studies), curato da Maria Cecilia Cercato dell’Istituto Nazionale Tumori IRCCS Regina Elena di Roma. L’abstract sintetizza gli studi pluriennali di medicina narrativa digitale durante i percorsi di chemioterapia e radioterapia, realizzati con la piattaforma DNMLab, ideata dall’antropologa Cristina Cenci.
